Micromobility Reduces Congestion & Helps Local Economies
Effective January 1, 2020, the Province of Ontario rolled out an e-Scooter pilot program, encouraging municipalities to explore the use of this form of micromobility to help people get around.
By offering more transportation choices, residents have the option to choose commuting methods that help:
✔️ Reduce congestion, pollution, and emissions
✔️ Efficiently connect to transit hubs
✔️ Stimulate economic growth
